01) File / New / 800 x 600 px / transparent

Selections / Select all

open your background image

Edit / Copy

Edit / Paste into selection

Selections / Select none

02) Layers / New Raster Layer

flood fill with light colour of your choice

open: cg_mask0003.jpg and minimize it

Layers / New Mask Layer / From Image:

Layers / Merge / Merge Group

Image / Resize: 125% (all layers NOT checked)

set opacity to 33%

Layers / Merge / Merge visible

03) Selections / Select all

Selections / Modify / Contract by: 25

Selections / Invert

Adjust / Blur / Gaussian Blur: Radius 5

Adjust / Add/Remove Noise / Add Noise:

keep selected

04) Layers / New Raster Layer

Selections / Invert

Effects / 3D Effects / Cutout:

Selections / Select none

05) activate bottom layer

open your magic carpet tube

Image / Resize: width: 500 px

Adjust / Sharpness / Sharpen

Edit / Copy

Edit / Paste as new layer

position to your liking

Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow:
5 / 5 / 50 / 10 / black

open your tube of your choice

resize to your liking

Edit / Copy

Edit / Paste as new layer

position your tube on the magic carpet

Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow:
5 / 5 / 50 / 10 / black

Layers / Merge / Merge Down

 

07) repeat last step with the next magic carpet and tube

rename the first magic carpet layer: MC01

rename the second magic carpet layer: MC02

my picture looks like this now:

08) Layers / New Raster Layer

add your watermark, copyrights and name

Edit / Copy Merged

open Animation Shop

Edit / Paste / As new Animation

back to PSP

09) activate layer: MC01

move it just a little bit to your liking

activate layer: MC02

move it just a little bit to your liking

Edit / Copy Merged

back to Animation Shop

Edit / Paste / After Current Frame

10) back to PSP

repeat last step three times

Animation Shop:

we have five animation frames now

Edit / Select all

Animation / Frame properties: display time: 45

File / Save as... *.gif
